Kidney Pain

Kidney infections often go overlooked, because the pain is often deep and dull. At first. However, overnight, the pain can exponentially worsen and is paired with fever and nausea. The flu-like symptoms occur when bacteria from a urinary tract infection (UTI) spreads into the kidneys and multiples. The problem with a kidney infection is that it requires more medical care than a UTI and will not go away on its own.

Health experts from the U.S. Department of Health say that kidney infections need attention immediately. Prolonged infection can lead to permanent kidney damage, complications with pregnancy, blood poisoning, kidney failure, and chronic kidney disease.
