A Stroke is Not a Type of Heart Attack
Even though they are often discussed together, a stroke and a heart attack are two very different medical incidents. Treatment for one will be ineffective for the other. Although both have to do with a blockage of blood flow, a heart attack has to do with blocked blood flow to the heart and can lead to light-headedness and dizziness while a stroke on the other hand has to do with blocked blood flow to the brain and can cause weakness in the face, arms and/or leg (sometimes on only one side of the body).
