Reduce Fridge Moisture
How many times have you discovered moldy fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator? This could happen for a variety of reasons, but one of the most common is too much humidity. Fruit, in particular, does not look too much moisture and will start to decay at a much faster rate. To curb this decay, you can put a sponge in the fruit drawer of your fridge.
The sponge will soak up excess moisture to keep your fruit fresher, longer. Simply wring out the sponge once in a while, since keeping it in the fridge for too long will start to have the opposite effect.
A sponge can do more for your fridge than soak up moisture, too. You can sprinkle a wet sponge with some baking soda. Put the sponge in an empty area on the door. It will draw in moisture and absorb any foul odors at the same time.
