Go on a nice walk every day.
Walking has a unique effect on the mind and body. Not only does it promote physical health in all bodies, regardless of their age and fitness level, but a walk can also boost creativity and optimism. Taking a 30 minute walk every single day has been proven to reduce the risk of illness.
Even if going for a walk sounds boring, you can make it fun. Why not listen to music or an audio book while sauntering around the neighborhood? You could also bring the family or your furry companion along. If you don’t have any children, you can ask a friend to join in the adventure. Or, if you don’t want to walk 30 minutes all at once, you can break it up into 10 minute walks.
If you take that walk outside, you can also benefit from nature. Simply being out in nature can boost your mood and make you feel so much more awake and alive.
