Lift Weights At Least 3 Times a Week
Exercise, especially lifting weights, has a number of benefits, such as preserving bone health as you age, building muscle mass, maintaining a healthy metabolic rate, increasing energy levels, and preventing age-related injuries. People who lift weight also have more confidence and a great sense of self-worth.
Living a sedentary lifestyle does more than increase your body fat, it can also increase your risk of deadly diseases and makes it harder to fall asleep at night.
Even if you never even placed a single toe in the weight room, the time to start is now. You don’t need to lift heavy immediately. Start slow. Build your strength and stamina. Exercise is a habit, after all; and you get into the habit, you’ll want to keep challenging yourself.
