Who Shouldn’t be Vaccinated?
Vaccines are generally safe. However, they shouldn’t be administered blindly. For instance, Hepatitis vaccines are recommendable for most infants, children, and adults. However, some adults shouldn’t get vaccinated i.e., pregnant women and anyone who has suffered from severe allergic reactions to vaccines before.
Hepatitis vaccines should be given to healthy persons only although persons with mild illnesses can also be vaccinated. People who experience severe or life-threatening allergic responses or allergies after receiving the first shot of a hepatitis vaccine shouldn’t receive the remaining shots. The same applies to individuals with compromised immune systems. Such individuals should seek medical advice first before getting vaccinated.
