Who Should Be Vaccinated?
CDC guidelines dictate that all infants should be vaccinated immediately after birth preferably, before leaving the hospital. Children and teenagers who haven’t been vaccinated should get vaccinated as soon as possible. Individuals who have been treated or evaluated for STDs should also be vaccinated. The same applies to individuals with chronic liver disease, end-stage kidney disease as well as people who have occupations that put them at risk of contacting infected bodily fluids. Any person who visits areas which are deemed risky should also be vaccinated.
