Haemangioblastomas
This type of brain tumor is typically genetic (prone to people with a Von Hippel Lindau (vHL) syndrome, a disorder that causes the development of tumors or fluid-filled cysts in different areas. Haemangioblastomas tumors are common among older teens and young adults. They tend to affect the brain stem but rarely spread. The tumors don’t become cancerous in most cases and account for just 2% of all brain tumor cases. This factor makes it difficult to treat them.
