Metastatic Brain Tumors
This type of brain tumors starts as cancer elsewhere in the body. Cancer cells are usually transported to the brain via the lymphatic system or blood. The cells may spread from nearby tissue. The brain tumors are known as brain metastases or lesions. They are very common/most common of all brain tumors. Metastatic brain tumors have increased as more people survive primary cancers (where the tumors originate) for longer periods.
