Acoustic neuromas

These types of tumors are common among elderly individuals. Since they affect hearing and balance (common with aging) and grow slowly, they are usually misdiagnosed for a long time. Acoustic neuromas develop on the nerve responsible for hearing and balance. The most notable symptom is; loss of hearing (in one ear).
