Shower Them with Real Love
It is sometimes easier to try and buy the love of our child/children. However, spoiling your child does not come close to showing them true love. Providing your child with love and support does much more than giving them material goods. This will also decrease the likelihood that your child will associate love with tangible things like the newest video game or the coolest gadget. Instead of trying to show your child/children that you love them by buying them something, try doing an activity with them. This could be something as easy as going for a walk or helping them with their weekly chores.
