Dress the Part
The clothes you wear also play a significant role especially if you love camping or live/work in high-risk areas. Taking a shower and checking your body often can be challenging. You can dress the part to reduce Lyme disease risks further.
You should cover up adequately selecting clothes which allow you to spot ticks easily. Wear long-sleeved pants and shirts. You should also wear socks and enclosed shoes (like running shoes). Such attire will offer you protection against Lyme disease by keeping ticks away or making it hard for them to attach to your body. The color of your clothing is also important. You should wear light-colored clothes to make it easy to see ticks or spots indicating an attack.
