Chronic Headaches
Most of us experience a headache or even a migraine from time to time. This is totally normal. However, those with Fibromyalgia often complain about headaches or migraines that do not seem to want to go away. Although headache pain is often the usual pain in the head itself and the temples, it can sometimes also affect close by body parts such as the neck and shoulders.
As we mentioned above, people with Fibromyalgia often experience sensitivities to certain environmental factors such as scent and sound. These environmental sensitivities often trigger these headaches and migraines. Unfortunately, these environmental triggers are impossible to avoid in public spaces and they do not magically disappear once the person moves themselves from the environment in which they were triggered. These headaches and migraines can often last several hours and even days, which of course does not help if that person already has issues sleeping.
