Chronic Diarrhea

Many symptoms are associated with Crohn’s disease. These symptoms may not necessarily mean you have the disease, and it could mean you are dealing with some other ailment. You should talk to your doctor and seek the appropriate treatment.
Chronic diarrhea is the most common symptom of Crohn’s disease. Diarrhea is the result of inflammation in your gastrointestinal tract, which prevents your body from absorbing water and electrolytes. Too much fluid ends up being absorbed in the stool, which results in diarrhea. When you have chronic diarrhea, an increased concentration of bile acids occurs. This leads to the deterioration of the lining in the gastrointestinal tract, which results in having bloody diarrhea.
