Headaches
You may also experience headaches when you have bronchitis. Headaches are caused by a decreased amount of oxygen in the blood because the bronchial tubes are inflamed. The headaches are also linked to excessive coughing. The cough is known as a “cough headache”. Besides coughing, the headaches are also linked to other forms of straining like constant sneezing, blowing the nose, etc. Throbbing headaches are also common with bronchitis because of nasal congestion.
