Unintended Weight Loss
Many forms of cancer will cause sudden weight loss. If you are not attempting to lose weight with diet and exercise or are undergoing heavy stress but unexpectedly drop several pounds, you should be concerned. Oftentimes, the weight loss is a result of the body burning more calories fighting off disease or infection, as well as a lack of appetite. Cancer patients also report that they also experience constipation, making it more difficult to eat.
Since unintended weight loss can be a symptom of many health complications, it is best to speak with your doctor. They will be able to rule out any other conditions.
