Write Down Your To-Do List
One way to reduce stress and anxiety is to use a to-do list to organize your thoughts and your day. While to-do lists are not going to magically bring structure to your life, it does help you focus on what needs to be done. You can think of a to-do list as a steering wheel that directs you to where you need to go.
Just like accomplishing one small task in the morning like making your bed, coming up with a to-do list is another triumph. Not only have you focused on something and made a plan, but you now have something in hand that will keep you moving forward.
Rather than jumping around anxiously from one task to another, you can focus on completing one thing at a time. To-do lists also help with memory recall, prioritization, flexibility, and productivity.
