Practice Gratitude
At the end of the day, there is one thing to be thankful for—life. You can always be grateful for having another day on this planet and another chance to move ahead. Sometimes, merely recognizing this truth is enough of a change to help reduce anxiety.
You can list 3 things you are grateful for in your journal or use gratitude as a calming practice in the morning and evening. For example, some people like to practice gratitude while doing a yoga routine, focusing on the amazing things their body allows them to do. Others may be grateful for their eyes as they behold a sunset or their health as they savor a delicious dessert or their partner as they talk about their day.
