Give Yourself Time In The Morning
When you wake up anxious, that anxiety will undoubtedly shadow you throughout the day. Therefore, when you wake in the morning, you should do things that help reduce your anxiety and promote positive vibes.
Setting up a morning routine that gives you time to slowly wake and meet the day is part of self-care. This means doing things for you, including eating a healthy breakfast or taking a hot shower or soothing your tired muscles on a foam roller. Rather than buffeting yourself with work emails, turn on some music, tidy up your space, practice some mediation or write in your journal about a dream you had.
Remember, the emails can wait. Your happiness deserves to be at the forefront of your morning.
