This type of test is very specific to cancerous cells of the pancreas. It can identify these tumors even when they have spread to farflung areas of the body. Your doctor will inject radioactive dye into your veins, which will then be taken up only by cancerous cells that originally came from the pancreas. This is an expensive test, but it will definitively give you the answers you seek.
