The First Steps to a Diagnosis

The first step to finding out if you have cancer of the pancreas is to make a doctor’s appointment. Your doctor will do a thorough physical exam. They may do bloodwork in addition to imaging. This could include a CT scan, MRI, or ultrasound. These are the initial tests to find out if further investigation is needed.
