Symptoms of Metastasis

Tumors of the pancreas are dangerous in part because they quickly metastasize, or spread, to other organs. The liver is often affected, leading to jaundice and liver failure. In addition, it can spread to the bones, the lungs, and even the brain. Metastasis will cause failure of affected organs as well as intense pain.
