Gastrinomas

A gastrinoma is a type of pancreas tumor that releases a digestive hormone called gastrin. Gastrin tells the stomach to produce increased acid. A gastrinoma can lead to excessive stomach acid which in turn leads to acid reflux, ulcers, and blood loss from gastric bleeding.
