Signs of an Irregular Heartbeat

Chest Pain

One specific type of arrhythmia Ventricular Fibrillation (or VF), which is sadly fatal, is usually associated with a rapid heartbeat or a pounding heart. VF often leads to a rapid, erratic heartbeat and also “quivering” in the heart’s chambers. VF can lead to the inability for the heart to send an adequate amount of blood to the body’s vital organs and can lead a person with it to experience tightness, pain, and discomfort of the chest and lead them to collapse in a matter of seconds. VF is usually characterized by an irregularity in the electrical signs of the heart. One example of the way that VF has a negative influence on the heart is that it can cause those electrical signs that allow for the triggering of the heartbeat to not work as they should. As we mentioned above, VF can unfortunately be fatal. However, if someone has VF an electric shock to the heart using a defibrillator machine can help the heart reset back to a normal rhythm.
