Heart Palpitations
Yet another symptom is heart palpitations, which can lead to what is referred to as a “skipped” heartbeat. When experienced infrequently, it is usually not a major issue. It more often than not only becomes a problem when it occurs frequently. When the heart is working as it should, blood is constantly being pumped approximately a whopping 100,000 times a day, pumping the equivalent of 2,000 gallons of blood). When a heart is not performing as it should and an individual has arrhythmia, these numbers are much different (either more or less). When it happens to be less, it can lead to damage of the other organs including the lungs, liver, and kidneys.
