Fatigue

With the body working hard to attempt at righting what is happening, the body will undoubtedly feel heavy and lethargic. MS sufferers complain that the onset of fatigue is usually sudden, especially in the legs. Exhaustion will deepen as the nerves within the spinal cord start to deteriorate. Overtime, the fatigue will become chronic.

Many individuals with COPD find that the fatigue in the lower limbs is worse during the afternoon hours and can affect their mental state as well. As their muscles grow weaker, so too does their alertness and processing power. Unlike those who do not have MS, this kind of fatigue is unrelated to work and physical activity, and it can happen even after a full night of restful sleep.
