Dizziness

Since the brain is responsible for our sense of balance, it is no wonder that individuals with multiple sclerosis will get dizzy spells more often. The dizziness, vertigo, nausea, and lightheadedness happen most often when the individual attempts to stand up too quickly.

Keep in mind that this dizziness might make it more difficult to move around swiftly or even walk, since your balance will be thrown off. If possible, have someone nearby who can support you while you move, at least until the lightheadedness abates.
