7. Schedule Medications
It is one thing to think that you take your medication at the same time every day. However, the best way to ensure that this is actually the case is to set a timer on your phone since forgetting to take some medications, sometimes even one pill, can increase your chances of experiencing heartburn.
Certain medications and dietary supplements are more likely to cause heartburn if you happen to miss a dose (or two or three). Therefore, we suggest that you talk to your doctor and get their opinion. They might also suggest another medication with decreased likelihood of causing heartburn.
