Physical Activity
Getting plenty of exercise is about as close to the fountain of youth as you well get. With enough physical activity throughout the day, you can prevent all kinds of ailments, starting with remedying back pain and stiff joints. Research has found that you don’t even have to work out every single day. A 40 minute walk 3-4 times per week is more than enough to improve your fitness level.
Exercise does more than get blood pumping, though. Once you get moving, you are toning your heart, revving your metabolism, boosting your immune response, and increasing creativity and mental acuity.
Don’t like hitting the gym? You don’t have to do that either. Housework, gardening, going for a pleasant stroll, or even dancing to the Oldies counts.
