Testing and Diagnosing Hashimoto’s Disease

In order to diagnose Hashimoto’s disease, usually a doctor will request that you have a blood test done in order to examine your your thyroid hormone (also known as T4) and thyroid-stimulating hormone (also known as TSH) levels or any other antithyroid antibodies (known as TPO antibodies).
