Unusable Sections of the Home
Hoarders typically have so many objects gathered in their home that the collections spill from their rooms, out into other living space. The clutter becomes so overwhelming that it will become difficult to move about freely, and there may only be a path leading to and from the most used sections of the house. You might see bags of garbage piled up, pillars of boxes, heaps of clothing, and other knickknacks blocking hallways and other rooms.
Furniture is often completely swamped with clutter to the point that the objects might right the ceiling and block out natural sunlight. Though most homes will have some form of clutter in rooms, a hoarder’s house leaves no space for living.
