Souvenir Cups and Mugs

You may have some cups and mugs that you are holding onto purely for sentimental value. That said, there are also quite a few clogging up your cabinets and mug racks and countertops that do not have to be there. Your kids probably have outgrown those plastic Disney cups you picked up from a family vacation, and you probably have coffee mugs and shot glasses from the college days you would be happy to never see again. Well, good news, you can donate them so another college student can give them purpose.

Rule of thumb: Keep as many mugs as guests you regularly have over at once. That’s usually 8-10 mugs.

Paper Party Supplies

Unless you have been named “Entertainer of the Year” and host galas at your house, you probably don’t need all those disposable plates and other party supplies stored around the kitchen and pantry. However, other people can definitely use paper party supplies, especially those with young children and a low budget. So fork it over!
