Treating Nail Ridges
Although it might be tempting to try and cover up any of the nail issues we discussed here with a coat or two of nail polish. However, it is essential that you make sure to speak to your doctor if you have reason to believe that something is not quite with your fingernails and/or toenails. You may be instructed to take iron supplements or certain vitamin supplements. Other suggestions include using hand creams and topical ointments, avoiding using hand sanitizer gels which can be hard on the skin and nails, and following a diet plan in the event that you have horizontal nail ridges fro, too high blood sugar levels.
