    Another common symptom among individuals with Asperger’s is literal interpretations of what people say. Asperger’s sufferers don’t understand sarcasm. They tend to take what people say as the truth. However, they understand humor. The idea that they don’t is wrong. Asperger’s sufferers can be very funny. When they notice their mistake after making literal interpretations, they tend to understand the real meaning of what was said. However, it can take some explanation.
