Accept Compassion From Others
Do you struggle to accept help from others? Regardless of the reason why, this struggle can become more prominent during the holidays. You may dislike burdening others with your troubles since it’s the holidays. Instead of taking on too much, accept help when others genuinely offer and be grateful.
A lot of people will pile on the responsibilities then suffer beneath the weight alone. To avoid over-extending yourself, ask for help. And don’t feel guilty when accepting it. If anything, lending and accepting helping hands is what this time of the year is about. That is the true gift—friendship and family. Rather than turning people away, let them in, even if it’s just a little.
