Ringing in Ears
You could also have vertigo if you experience ringing in your ears. Ear infections, fluid build-up, and swelling are common causes of vertigo. This symptom is caused by eardrum vibrations. Vertigo-related ear ringing resembles soft whining that doesn’t go away. This symptom could also be associated with slight hearing loss. You should see a doctor to help you pinpoint the underlying cause of the ringing. When this symptom disappears, the vertigo will disappear as well.
