Chills
Chills which are sensations of coldness are less common but still among the notable symptoms of diverticulitis. Chills usually occur alongside other diverticulitis symptoms like fever. They can be accompanied by trembling or shivering (rapid muscle movements) which are the body’s way of raising internal temperature. If the chills persist after putting on warm clothing and you have other symptoms like fever, this is a sure sign that you could be suffering from an infection like diverticulitis. You should see a doctor immediately.
