Headaches
Ear infections cause pressure build-up in the year resulting in a throbbing headache which sets in and is felt around the affected area as well as in the ear canal. This type of headache is known as earache. You can experience it alongside other symptoms like stiff necks and pain as the pressure continues to build up. Increased pressure inside the ear causes organs like the eardrum to stretch and swell causing headaches.
