Make Your Bed In The Morning
If you don’t have a set routine that you do in the morning, then here is where you begin. When you get up, make your bed. Every single day. This one simple move has a huge symbolic meaning: You already accomplished one thing on the to-do list. You got up and made your bed.
No matter how depressed or anxious you feel upon rising, if you can knock one thing off the checklist, it proves that you can do something else. Soon, you will be doing more and more, accomplishing goals and moving forward. It all starts with something as easy as making your bed.
Additionally, everyone loves coming home to see things in order. Coming back from a hard day and seeing a made-up bed is a nice way to put a pleasant spin on things.
