Hung Up On Hangers
The very first thing you should do is ditch every single wire hanger you ever received from the cleaners. Next, discard every hanger that is damaged in some way; sure you can hang it up but there is little reason to have a “unitasker” in your closet.
While you may surmise that the next step is to buy replacement hangars, do an inventory of your wardrobe first. In some cases, you may realize that all of your dieting paid off and you have an excess of functional hangars from ditching over-sized clothes. In other cases, you may be in dire need of replacements to support your wardrobe. Regardless of how many hangars you buy, try and shoot for wood over wire. You might also want to look into space-saver hangars.
