• Heart defects – congestive heart failure

• HIV

• Sleep apnea

• Blood clots

• Autoimmune disease

• Liver diseases – cirrhosis

• Lung diseases – pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema, and chronic bronchitis

• Addiction or excessive use of illegal drugs, such as cocaine or methamphetamine
