Chest Pain
Angina (chest pain) is tied into irregular heartbeats and pressure around the arteries. Overworked hearts will also start to feel pain. Pressure exerted against the chest wall may also cause pain.
Patients report varied levels of pain, along with differences in the sensation. Some have said their angina is a stabbing pain, while others have had less. Like many other symptoms, the quality of chest pain is unique to every person. Be sure to describe your pain with as much detail as possible when visiting your doctor.
