Pain between the Shoulder Blades
Pain is a common symptom of gallbladder attacks. Another distinctive and common type of pain is pain between the shoulder blades. This pain originates from the chest or abdomen but radiates outwards in some cases towards the upper back in the middle. The pain is usually experienced on the right shoulder blade. It can also spread affecting the entire shoulder. This pain can be traced back to the nerves. The gallbladder can’t experience pain; however, it has nerves which extend to the back muscles, specifically, the area around the right shoulder.
