Chills

The chills are often paired with fever and night sweats. When you get the chills, your body is rapidly contracting and releasing muscles in an attempt to raise the core temperature back to normal. The chills can also be a defense mechanism against infection as bacteria begins to spread.

Although the chills can happen to anyone with tuberculosis, those with weak immune systems are more susceptible.
