Post-Nasal Drip
As the name suggests, post nasal drip is a cough characterized by mucus or phlegm draining down from sinus cavities to the back of the throat. This usually happens to prevent mucus from getting to the lungs (a problem that causes a scratchy/itchy cough common with seasonal allergies).
