Unexplained Weight Loss
Many people who develop cancer will report unexplained weight loss that does not stem from dieting efforts (or any effort at all). Two out of every five cancer patients experience sudden weight loss, making it a common early symptom of cancer.
If you suddenly drop several pounds without any major changes, you should speak to a primary care physician as soon as you can. While it may not always be cancer, rapid weight loss is unhealthy.
