Urine Changes

A sudden change in your urine, such as frequency, the color, scent, or even pain and burning, can be sign of bladder cancer. Other changes include problems with functioning, such as feeling like you have to go but have nothing to let go, or even slower than usual trickles of urine despite increased pressure.

While these changes are often affiliated with urinary tract infections or bladder infection, it could also be caused by an enlarged prostate gland. Be sure to have a doctor check for both infections and enlarged glands.

Do you have blood in your urine? Hematuria is caused by kidney stones, urinary infections, and other problems. Some people have had this symptom when developing kidney or bladder cancer. Any episode of hematuria should be investigated.
