Other Tuberculosis Symptoms
While tuberculosis is noted for affecting the lungs, it can also occur in other regions of the body, including the brain, kidneys, spine, and lymph nodes. When this happens, the symptoms will differ slightly. For example, if you contract tuberculosis of the spine, you may get back pain instead of chest pain. Tuberculosis in the kidneys increases the risk of blood in your urine. For the lymph nodes, the area will get swollen and warm.
