Long-term Care
Although surgery works for most plantar fasciitis cases, there are some exceptions. The underlying cause of plantar fasciitis can remain even after surgery. If that is the case, you will be required to continue taking preventative measures like stretching, using customized orthotic devices and/or wearing supportive shoes. Long-term care is part of most plantar fasciitis treatment.
