Mood Swings
Emotional volatility is another common symptom of borderline personality disorder. One moment, a person with BPD who was happy seconds before can become incensed or depressed. Mood swings can be triggered from a number of things, most of which others can overlook or forget rather easily.
They may also experience waves of negativity in response to daily scenarios and irritability or deep sadness that can last for most of the day.
